Fox Meadow Creamery
Jan 30, 2017
I always wonder if normal people Google Map ice cream anytime they go anywhere.
Because I do.
Randomly after lunch in Ephrata with Lucy and Miss Bea, the boys and I decided ice cream was a must. I heard about Fox Meadow Creamery but had yet to visit.
This coffee shop ice cream hybrid is a do-not-miss in Lancaster County! With a lovely wrap-around porch surrounded by farmland, it's impossible not to relax and enjoy a treat while taking in the scenic views. The creamery also boasts a fresh local market and a tractor-themed play set. You can also watch the staff make the ice cream through a large window in the marketplace.
This is what dreams are made of.
I enjoyed a double scoop of some of the tastiest chocolate peanut butter ice cream with little chunks of heaven swirled inside. Lucy had a milkshake created with ice cream and espresso and caramel. (Seriously, who thinks of this stuff?!). The littles had their fair share of birthday cake ice cream. It was unseasonably warm, so the kids got to enjoy the play set while Lucy and I got to gossip. How can a day get much more perfect?
Prices are reasonable and you can hang outside for a few hours while the kids work off the sugar. Who could ask for anything more?
